I completed my ML training with Nick in 2019 in Snowdonia. I was a rookie rambler and Nick was incredibly encouraging and understanding, but challenged me to push myself throughout the week. We were a small group and Nick made time for each of us throughout the process. He covered all the skills in an engaging but professional way, making sure that we all felt confident in the new skill before we moved on.
Always eats peaches, decent banter, on the whole an excellent mentor and assessor!

We did 2 days with Nick learning rock climbing basics; how to set up anchor points, how to bottom rope and how to lead climb on sports routes. Nick was absolutely fantastic. He has a very relaxed way of teaching but is totally on point when it comes to safety, he checks and explains what we have done, why it's good or how it could be better. Felt very safe with him. Ge also guided is up some difficult climbs.
